Almost everyone has appeared to carry one of these devices. But with technology growing rapidly cell phone isn't becoming only useful but becoming more dangerous and putting people's life at risk. And one of the most dangerous sides of the cell phone is using it while driving. The research is beginning to show that driving while simply talking on a cell phone had caused a lot of accident in the following year. Though, according to this research don't you think that using cell phone while driving should be banned?

A study at the University of Utah that was published in the journal "Psychological Science" stated that "people who had conversations on any type of cell phone were twice as likely to hit the person in front of them, braked slowly and accelerated slower after braking." Which, cell phone is the significant distraction that causes accidents.

In the same way, driving should be prohibited due to the fact that it can be life threatening for many drivers and put other people's life in danger. According to the statistics, it has proven that "In 2011, 31.2 people are killed every day, and 11,388 are killed every year by the drivers who used cell phones while driving, in the U.S." This represents that using cell phone while driving is a risky business which will cause not just killing themselves but killing other people.

Cell Phones Should Be Banned While Driving

I strongly agree with cell phones being banned while driving. I can honestly say that I have almost run in to someone’s back on numerous occasions because I was focused on texting on my phone. I think driving while using cell phones should be banned because of the many car accidents they are causing, it is causing ones insurance to rise, and it is causing concerns to people health issues. The question is people more concerned more with their conveniences more than they are with their safety or safety of others. It is a habit that spreads like STDs. In the long run, it is deadly as well
Cell phones are the omnipresent electronic device of this era, and multitasking is the word of this generation so, it is quite natural to see many people chatting over the mobile phone or thumbing down instant jokes while negotiating the traffic on busy highways. According to a recent study, a review of the history of cellular phone use will demonstrate that while early focus on cell phone regarded growth in wireless communication, more recent focus includes a concern for highway safety. The study also stated that the National Highway Traffic Safety administration reports that the cellular telephone was introduced in 1983, and has since then incurred a growth rate of around 40 percent per year. In the study it was predicted that there would be around 80 million cell phone use in the United States by the year 2000. Cell usage will always be around as time passes.
One reason I think cell phones should be banned is because driver are causing lot of car accident. Several studies show cell phones are a leading cause over 200 deaths and a half million injuries each year. According to the results in recent study, the indication from the result of different accidents tells and shows that driving while on a cell phone does seem to be a serious problem. Studies have proved that drivers who use cell phones while driving are more prone to cause accidents. Driving while using a cell phone to drunk driving, in both cases, a person does not have enough focus and mentally capacity to carry out a potentially dangerous activity like driving. If you have this habit, do not forget about this also. Banning cell phone while driving will keep a safe distance from accidents. One cannot focus fully on the road and the other vehicles, if one keeps talking on phone consistently while driving.
Another reason and perhaps a more tangible reason to ban the usage of cell phones while driving, is to prevent car insurance from rising. In society, money is tight when it comes to doing different thing with the way the economy is now. If you can, try being careful because the money you put towards careless accident that can be prevented can be put toward a light bill, etc. The more the number of tickets you attract against your name, the higher the insurance will be. In recent studies companies are paying close attention to the link between cell phone use and car accident and many...
