Cell Organelles WorksheetComplete the following table by writing the name of the cell part or organelle in the right hand column that matches the structure/function in the left hand column. Practice makes perfect! This matching worksheet provides the student with review and reinforcement of plant and animal cell organelles. There are 45 questions set up in a matching format. All questions deal with either the structure of the organelles or the functions of the organelles. Students will choose from a word bank of 21 organelles.
Suitable for biology or life science students in grades 7 - 12.

PLEASE NOTE: This product is also included in a large, bundled unit lesson plan and can be viewed here: Cell Structure and Function Complete Unit Plan Bundle
The word bank includes: Cell membrane, cell wall, central vacuole, centriole, chloroplast, chromoplast, chromosomes, cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, golgi apparatus, leukoplast, lysosome, mitochondria, nuclear membrane, nucleolus, nucleoplasm, nucleus, ribosomes, rough ER, smooth ER and vacuole.
This was prepared for my Biology I class. I use this for a homework assignment, but it would make a great quiz or test review. The questions do require a little more thought than just "What is the function of this part?" For example: One question asks the student to give all organelles that are enclosed by a double membrane. Another asks for all organelles that would be found in both plant and animal cells.
Answers are included. You will receive two copies of the worksheet: one in pdf format and the other in a Word document..
